From 2001 to 2007, Comet has been jointly developed by Pascal Van Hentenryck, Professor in the Computer Science Department and director of the optimization lab at Brown University (email) and Laurent Michel, now Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Connecticut (email). Both of them still spent considerable time in new developments of Comet. Andrew See is working on parallel and distributed implementations of Comet for his PhD thesis at the university of Connecticut.
